I am always amazed by how each of us carries our own unique talents. Some people have many, some have one, but every talent is a light. Sometimes it stays quiet inside us until something or someone, brings out that spark, that ambition, that fire we didn’t even know we had.
Lately, I’ve been watching so many of my friends grow, thrive, and succeed in the areas they love. And I’m proud. Truly proud. Proud of every single one of them for believing in themselves enough to try, enough to fail, enough to rise again.
Honestly, it’s not just one person who inspires me, it’s all of them. I’ve seen friends building their own companies, creating dog accessories, opening restaurants, launching mechanic shops, baking stores, cooking, designing, fixing, creating, and stepping into their dreams with courage and passion. Watching everyone push themselves, no matter the size of their dream, is what inspires me most. Even our young ones are blooming with the talents Hashem blessed them with, and somewhere in the middle of witnessing all that growth, I realized something about myself too.
Recently, I’ve been working on a project of my own, bringing out a talent I always knew I had but never truly shared. It’s a new kind of journey for me, filled with ambition, with nerves, with goals that stretch me, and with that rush that reminds you you’re doing something meaningful. It’s the dream we chase, the dream that wakes up the parts of ourselves we’ve kept quiet for too long and stepping into this part of myself has shown me that my own gifts deserve acknowledgement.
With our given talents from Hashem, we don’t just build careers, we inspire others. We show what’s possible. But the journey isn’t always easy. Dreams don’t just land in our laps. Finding our talent, finding what we’re truly good at, comes with hiccups, ups and downs, confusion, searching, and trying again. Yet eventually, we uncover something within ourselves.
By discovering our talents, we give ourselves the opportunity to understand our most natural thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. And through that discovery, we begin to understand our unique contribution in this world. Each talent, big or small, is a gift, a purpose, a way we leave our mark.
Through all this growth, I remember one thing. Hashem plants the seeds of our talents long before we ever recognize them. Nothing in life is random. He never creates a soul without direction or potential. Each of us is given exactly what we need the tools, the strengths, the inner wisdom to grow into who we’re meant to become. All we have to do is trust His timing, trust the process, and know that what Hashem plans will unfold exactly when it’s supposed to.
